The product comes in beautiful packaging that looks like high end. The bottle is heavy and cap fits well. I heard about this from an IG reviewer who highly recommended and noted it’s staying power. I totally agree about the longevity. Unfortunately, in this case, it was unwanted. With a tiny spray it permeated everything and the scent lingered for at least 48hrs. It is extremely strong and has a burnt offering aroma when first emitted into the air. Once it makes contact with your skin it turns acrid and smells as though a lumberjack neglected his shower n decided to mask his odor with saffron and other spicy oils.I didn’t believe that the reviewer could have so obviously missed the mark so I decided on another day to test on a clean piece of clothing. Thought perhaps my body chemistry simply did not mesh well with the particular fragrance. But this just caused me to have to suffer further hours of the disgusting odor. Only laundering the fabric removed weakened the scent.It lingered so much I started imagining whiffs of it outside the home even though I hadn’t used it again.It might be for someone. I can’t imagine who would choose it, on purpose

I can see why many like it or hate it. The packaging is beautiful, the bottle big and decorative. That said, the honest opinion I have to give, is when you first spray, the scent is very nice, sweet, sensual, warm with the potential of being great if it stayed that way. However, that lasts for only about fifteen minutes and then only the strong wood notes prevail as what you would find in a woody scented room fragrance from Glade. After that fades it simply smells like the big old yellow toned Dial soap and doesn’t come off until you wash it off in the shower. Disappointing, definitely not my idea of a personal fragrance enjoyed on the skin.*I have to update that paired with an essential oil layered over your initial spray of this fragrance works very well in keeping it softer and feminine without the heavy wood notes taking over. So there’s that to try too if you have a favorite feminine oil perfume and want a very warm floral scent to linger. I just wish this fragrance stayed the same as the first initial spray, balanced and then it would have been truly lovely

Lasting Hours:5 hours
My daily fragrance is the Sauvage Elixer by Dior, when I heard there was an Arabic clone for less than Rm 100 I decided to try it.
Received next day delivery and well packed by seller. My first impression was that the box feels very premium but when I opened it and looked at the fragrance casing I was very impressed, it’s so hefty and has a very premium feel to it which I really liked because it’s design is more arabic centric and so distinct from all the European fragrances bottles.
I think it’s 75% similiar to the Sauvage Elixer which is amazing because it’s only 1/3 the price especially during a sale. It also lasts slightly shorter than the Sauvage, I get roughly 4 and half hours compared to 5-7.

Dior’s got competition… Sauvage Elixir for a fraction of the price
Having both the SE and Asad I can say that these are so close that I couldn’t with a straight face encourage anyone to spend the money on Dior’s SE. In fact I prefer Asad to SE because it comes off a little softer to my nose. SE is great but it has a very bright opening for myself and it can sometimes lend to olfactory fatigue and minor headache when I wear it (same with Sauvage EDP, which is my favorite of the flankers). Asad tends to hit the same key notes for me, just not as bright at the opening. Maybe it comes off with a little more vanilla in the opening which might tone down the brightness. Which is a good thing for me as it doesn’t give me the head ache.Longevity for me is 11-12 hours on skin and days on clothes if you don’t wash them. SE gives me about 14 hours on skin but to me 11-12 hours is more than enough on skin to get through the day. If you want it to hold longer just hit your shirt with a single spray and you’re good for 24+ hours. lolMy only advice would be same for SE. A little goes a long way and this is a beast mode fragrance so you can drown out a room if you’re too liberal with the application. 1-4 sprays (depending on needs) and your set for the entire day.
